Resol is a full-service construction firm offering a wide range of capabilities, including public and private general contracting, construction consulting, new building development, seismic retrofitting, and remodeling. We also specialize in infrastructure projects such as earthworks, pipeline installation, bridges, treatment plants, and road construction.
Educational and correctional facilities are part of our portfolio of successful projects. To date, Resol has completed or contributed to over 170 projects across Costa Rica, Florida (USA), and the Caribbean.
History
In 1975, engineer Esteban Soler Mirabent founded RESOL S.A. in Costa Rica, after working for 10 years at Zinke-Smith. A graduate of the Civil Engineering School at the University of Havana, Cuba (Class of 1948), Engineer Soler brought extensive experience in civil works throughout Cuba and the Caribbean.
In 1977, his son José I. Soler Aira joined RESOL S.A. He graduated from the University of Costa Rica as a Civil Engineer with a specialization in construction in 1979. He currently serves as President of RESOL Inc.
In 1982, the company expanded and opened RESOL Inc. in Miami, Florida, USA. RESOL Inc. became the parent company for the subsidiary in Costa Rica and future international branches.
The third generation of civil engineers began in 2012 when Thomas Soler Pazos graduated from Purdue University in Indiana, USA with a degree in Civil Engineering. He joined the company in 2013 and currently serves as Vice President of RESOL Inc.
In 2016, RESOL Panamá was established as a subsidiary of RESOL Inc., USA.
Today, Resol operates in Costa Rica, Miami, Florida, and Panama.
